Lily Pads

This print is based on an approximate tessellation of frogs; in a strict tessellation there would be no gaps between the frogs. The frog tile was created by distorting a photograph of a frog until the gaps between the different frogs became small. In the print, frogs approach a flat impressionistic print depicting lily pads from both sides and gradually fade into the print. "Lily Pads" is a limited edition of 50 digital prints executed in 2005; image size 14" x 7".
